Why product CSV updates need review
WooCommerce product CSV updates often depend on matching by SKU or ID. If the matching field is blank, duplicated, or changed by Excel, the import preview may not line up with the products you expect.
Before upload, review changed rows and file-format issues such as delimiters, uneven rows, blank headers, and product-code-like values that spreadsheet apps may change.
What to compare before updating
Start by comparing the current export against the new supplier or edited CSV. Focus on stable keys, rows only in one file, duplicate keys, blank keys, and changed product fields.
